A 2 hectares park surrounds the castle
The owners have revived an old orchard and have installed a small farmyard (chickens, geese, ducks, pig) that will allow the youngest to get acquainted with farm animals.
Some beautiful trees decorate the park: oak, chestnut, walnut ...
In the park, you will enjoy in the summer hammocks and sun loungers to relax. Children will love the farmyard and we will be happy to introduce them to our educational games of recognition of trees and very diverse plants present in the park (orchard, trees of the park, monastic square, kitchen garden).
Art
In the park and in the castle, one of the owners, an artist in his spare time, exhibits his work.
Ecology by conviction
Ecology is present everywhere: Heating of the house by a wood boiler which is a renewable energy; significant thermal insulation in all rooms.
Work of the kitchen garden, orchard, garden of aromatics and the park as a whole without any herbicide, pesticide or fungicide.
Recovery of rainwater for watering the garden through wells, maintenance of shelters for some rare or protected animal species, planting or maintenance of local plants (especially fruit trees) and old vegetables.
