The nature
The castel of Roncourt is in a landscape of forests and grass fields for cows.
Biodiversity is rich here, and protected with several national and european rules : Natura 2000 for example.
In our castel and garden, we are engaged with the « conservatoire des sites lorrains » to protect a population of bats.
Of course, we use no chemicals in the garden.
Our green wastes are given to the chicken.
ENERGY and WATER
The castle was completly restaured and insulated. The heating is based on wood.
Water is collected for our two wells and used for the garden.
